Doug Robinson is the principal and owner of Musical Impressions. Based in Needham, Massachusetts, he performs solo piano engagements and teaches students of all ages.

Growing up in Montreal, Canada, Doug started taking piano lessons at age 5. He initially showed interest by playing hymns he had heard in church on his family piano and after Doug’s mother signed him up for private lessons, "the rest was history." With the help of a great teacher and much family support, Doug fell in love with the piano. He completed examinations through the McGill Preparatory School of Music, and after moving to the U.S., took lessons at Dana Hall in Wellesley before enrolling at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. At Berklee, Doug majored in Music Education and Performance. Doug has been teaching privately and with groups for over 30 years.
